Oshikuku Mayor pay courtesy visit to CPBN

The Mayor of Oshikuku Town Council Her Worship Ms. Julia Endjambi and her delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN) today, 30th July 2024. The aim of the visit was to inform CPBN about the upcoming Oshikuku Annual Trade Fair, which is scheduled to take place from 26th October to 2nd November 2024 in Oshikuku. Furthermore, the visit aimed at inviting CPBN to come on board as a stakeholder of the trade fair by participating as an exhibitor to promote and educate the public on the mandate and procurement process of CPBN during the trade fair.

 

Receiving the mayor and her delegation was Mr. Idi Itope, CPBN’s Chief Executive Officer. In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Itope commended the Oshikuku Town Council for initiating a platform such as the Oshikuku Trade Fair, which is aimed at boosting the town’s social and economic development.
